Visual Prayer is an amazing tool that will help you stay focused as you pray. You don't need to be creative in order to practice Visual Prayer, so don't run off if you are worried about that.
All you need in order to do One Name/One Word is:
A pen
Index Cards
Color Pencils
Stickers or Printed Image (optional)
A timer (optional)
The great thing about Image Prayer is its an easy way to look back on what you have prayed for because you have an image that will bring back the memories of that prayer. With the image prayer you want to think about what you are going to be praying for, it can be mundane, or it could be special or unique..... but you want to choose an image that represents that. Then you simply draw the image on your card and color it in. If you don't know how to draw an image, GOOGLE a doodle! Step outside of your comfort zone and give it a try... Still not comfortable? You can also use stickers or a printed image and glue it, you could use memorabilia as well. Once you have drawn your image, you simply write out your prayer around or beside the image. Don't forget to date your prayer card!
YAY! CONGRATULATIONS! GREAT JOB! Now that you have completed the Image Prayer, I'm eager for you to answer the following questions:
